There are some changes happening at Coulson Manufacturing.  The old mill offices have been demolished and are being replaced with a new building.  The shipping office will be combined in the same building with the mill offices.  This should make the work more efficient.  Both buildings have reached the expiry date and were due for replacement.  It will be great to be in a nice clean building.

CML is still running in a combination of custom cut and Western Red Cedar (WRC) inventory.  Lumber markets are very slow so the custom cuts have been an important part of our business lately.

With the WRC inventory cuts CSL has gone back to work.  Until the new office building is complete, the CSL crew will be using the shipping office washroom and the CML First Aid room.   When the renovations are complete, there will be new washrooms and a new First Aid for CSL.

The log yard has been very busy with barges, custom cuts, mill inventory and third party logs coming in by truck.   It’s amazing we can keep all the wood moving.  Good work to everyone!
