T

he renovations have now begun in the Gaming Centre.  The IT department will be kept busy this coming month keeping up with the changes. I will be involved with the construction of the new banquet room as well as the increase in the number of slot machines on the gaming floor.

I have had some very good feedback on the new vpn system (Virtual Private Office) and also on the new terminal server (Terminal). I have been told that users logging into the Virtual Private Office and connecting to the terminal server are now able to print from their remote location. This is great news as these upgrades were a fairly large investment in hardware, software and IT resources.
Please feel free as always to send me feedback on any of the system you are using as this is the only way I will know how to make improvements to reduce any frustrations you might have and increase your productivity.
