n the last log-N-Talk I wrote about how summer heat would be upon us soon….., and here we are with no real signs of it yet!
The cool spring and summer has kept the operational requirements at Aircrane and Flying Tankers fairly quiet. Hawaii Mars has done several training flights with the Province of BC, but no fire call-outs yet. Aircrane has C-FBSF on alert at the airport, but again, it has been very quiet across the country and no call outs to this point.
The Sproat Lake Marine Patrol will once again be operating from our base on Sproat Lake, and have asked us to remind you of Canada’s new boating regulations and water safety. A good source for both of these items is the Transport Canada website available at:

The log and lumber market can continue to be described as “cautiously optimistic”. Products continue to be forward sold, but at limited volumes and price pressure. CML will have two weeks of cedar and two weeks of custom cut in July.
