C-FMAY continues to pick up extensions in Australia. The fire season has not been real bad, but the prescribed burns for fuel reduction continue.
C-FXEC looks like work will continue to at least September servicing the drill platform for Exxon Australia.
C-FCLM has now started the cross country journey from Melbourne Australia to Jalalabad Afghanistan where it will remain contracted for at least nine months.
C-GBSF will arrive in Port Alberni April 2nd to start some modification that will outfit her as a firefighting aircraft.

Aircrane has tendered into Greece for supply of two passenger carrying, tanked fire fighting S-61’s. We should hear the outcome in the next week to ten days.

Dialogue continues with the Province of BC on potential work for the Mars. The summer fire season is currently predicted to be as violent as last year. Below are some exerts from a presentation last week by the Ministry of Forests.

The fleet of large tankers has been reduced to eight.

The indicators in 2009 were accurate…., and the indicators this year predict a similar pattern.
