orestry and Engineering are very quiet this month. Engineering has finished the layout of a new block for our operations in TFL 54. This will be the last new area in TFL which we will submit for cutting permit approval under our agreement with MaMook.

In our agreement with MaMook on TFL 54, MaMook will do the tree planting and silviculture on all areas. As a result we will not have a planting program this spring. All of the areas that were logged under Coulson and Echa Peh licences are planted.

We continue to work on a watershed assessment of the Toquart watershed in preparation for a return there in the near future.

Fire season is fast approaching. I will have a summary of our fire prevention plan and duty roster in the April edition of Log n’ Talk.
