Message from the CEO

As we start 2010, I see this as the year of change.

We cannot hope for a better day as the dynamics of the BC Forest Industry are clear and distinct with regard to fix, sell or close.

I am seeing this with many competitors in the Forest Industry and we will be working through this process as a company over the next few months.

We will see in 2010 the patience of BC Forest Industry investors deteriorate to the point of moving capital to safer environments and operations terminating.

I believe we have the most hard working and loyal work force in the industry and again would like to thank everyone for their commitment over the years.

Britt and I travelled to Australia and had a chance to visit with all the crews at the three aircraft which I really enjoyed.  We also were in Australia when Firewatch 76 started its contract.  Britt has taken on a new job leading the Firewatch 76 program for the next couple of months as he will be the operator/trainer of the Thermal Imaging camera, riding in the back on each mission with an Australian Government Air Attack Officer sitting up front.

As Safety is always our guiding light, please work safe and look out for your fellow employee.
