With Somass Division down, our supply of bevel stock has come to an end for the time being. Fortunately, the Coulson Specialties planer mill is busy these days trying to catch up with the un-processed wood from the sawmill. On Monday we started running the planer on two shifts which enabled some of the millworks crew to fill in and get back to work.

As always, let’s ensure the safety of any new co-worker with adequate training and communication. If you are unsure of your duties ask your supervisor and always wear the necessary personal protective equipment.
