Although with a few false starts…, C-FCLM is on contract with the US Forest Service based out of Santa Ynez California. This is the only initial attack rappel crew in the US with an S-61 platform. The crews have been ground and air training with the base crews on standard and emergency procedures. So far the fire indices remain very high in Southern California, although the amount of fire starts is below average. Pictures below are of crew training on the tarmac…yes it is hot!!




C-FBSF remains on her annual contract in the Queen Charlotte Islands transferring fishing lodge customers and cargo from the airstrips at Sandspit and Masset to the various lodges.
C-FXEC had a short break from the offshore work in Darwin, and is now back on another offshore contract operating out of Sale in the South-eastern corner of Victoria State. This looks like it will have about a 3-4 month operational requirement.
