Our chopping program at Millworks has been extended again. As pictured below, we are in the middle of a 1 3/4 X 6 WRC VG block and cutstock program that will take us into June. This product will be transformed into shutters for the US marketplace. Also, coming up is 85,000 fbm of KD hemlock that we will S4S and chop for door stock components and finger joint blocks. Some of these runs are not large, but if we can string enough of them together we can stay busy.

The bevel line is down at the moment, but there is some VG bevel stock being accumulated at Somass for a run in the near future.

On the safety side, we have removed the block re-entry bin at the rip station. Please use caution around the work station as the platform and guarding have been changed to increase the workspace. If you have any safety suggestions, ensure they are brought up on the safety tour.
