Message from the CEO

2008 has been a year of turbulence on a global basis with some positives and some negatives.

Overall for the Coulson Group I am pleased where we have ended up controlling what we can and being conservative on what we cannot.

As I look to 2009 it will be a slower start for CFP and CML, but CAL with our excellent customers in Australia have picked up C-FMAY and C-FCLM for an 84 day fire contract starting Dec 15th for the State of Victoria. Our friends at Jayrow Helicopters whom we have been working with on the fire aircraft for the past 3 years have contracted C-FXEC for an offshore oil contract starting Jan 1st up in Darwin, Australia for the next 12 months. We have a very exciting program for the Martin Mars this year that I will expand upon in March 2009.

We will continue to diversify our business outside of Canada and are very proud of our foundation being in Port Alberni. Our success is due in no small measure to the loyalty, trust and hard work of our employees.
