Message from the CEO

All divisions have been very busy as the first half of 2008 passes.

The Coastal Forest Industry is struggling with a downturn in the lumber markets and most companies have announced down time in both the harvesting and lumber manufacturing facilities. We are working extremely hard to keep all operations going although the business is so dynamic right now there are extreme shifts with competing companies that can impact our operations.

The Hawaii Martin Mars has been operating in Northern and Southern California for the past month and the crew has done an exceptional job representing our company and impressing our customer the United States Forest Service and members of Cal. State Fire.

With the better weather and working the longer days it is important that we focus on safety to ensure we all return home at the end of every shift.

On July 18, 2008, U.S. President George Bush and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger flew in “Marine One”, a Sikorsky S61 helicopter, over the Coulson Martin Mars on Lake Shasta.
