We have been running steady at Millworks on one shift except for three days in the middle of the month when we ran short of infeed stock. There are two more kiln charges in front of us so we can keep rolling along. We have also started accumulating more 2x6 Premium Knotty in preparation of another tongue and groove run which will happen in the upcoming weeks.

Attention to detail and quality of product is what will enable us to stay operational. All employees from the infeed right through to the packaging area must ensure that they continue be diligent about quality.

Safety Note: As the temperature rises, please be sure to drink plenty of water on and off the job. Dehydration is dangerous and can lead to severe medical conditions. Initial signs of severe thirst, dry skin, dry mouth, chills and headaches must be recognized and dealt with immediately by drinking water.
