Another hectic month has passed but it looks as though things may settle down slightly for a short while. Just in time too, it seems that summer is finally here!

The Manufacturing and Timberland EMSs audits were just completed and Paul Pashnik has kept me quite busy over the last couple of month’s fine tuning the online EMS program. A large majority of the work done is in preparation to bring the Aviation division online. A lot of work still to do here and as always, time is short.

I had the pleasure of assisting with the second season opening of the Martin Mars Fire Base Gift Shop. This year we took things a step further and are tracking inventory with the cash register. This is in preparation for the opening of the Martin Mars online store. I learned a lot about cash registers over the last 2 weeks, and luckily was able to program it with my notebook. A big thank-you to the Avionics department at Aircrane for building me the required custom serial cable.

Our custom log scale program has been giving us some grief lately. It was not designed for the amount of data that it contains after 4 ½ years of use. It is running very slow and developing little glitches, mostly in the reporting modules, that I have been jury rigging fixes for. I will be starting a complete overhaul of the program in the next couple of weeks.

Just a reminder to everyone that I will be on vacation July 17 to 22. If you have anything that requires my attention before then please let me know as soon as possible.
