Mill Report It sure has been nice to see some good weather return. That seemed like a long winter and a very wet spring.

CML has continued running on the seven day a work program with shingle for Somass on the weekends and our own cedar/hemlock or custom cuts during the week.

CSL has also been busy on our own wood and custom work for Somass.

Lumber sales are starting to feel the effect on the rising Canadian dollar especially the hemlock which is sold in US funds.

Cedar is still good as there are still shortages in the market.

Lately we have cut some unusual species for CML with our first yellow cedar and spruce cuts in a long time. We want to keep all of our options open.

Safety as always is our first priority so until next time, please work safe and play safe.
