All of our companies have been extremely busy throughout the summer.
Our move to the new Head Office is complete and we are now located on the west side entrance of the Rim Rock Gaming Centre. I would like to thank Susan and staff for an extremely smooth transition, with minimal disruption.
Harvesting operations in Cataract and TFL 54 have been going very well and have produced budgeted volumes for our CML Manufacturing team.
Coulson Aircrane continues to operate our S-61 fleet in the various markets, while in August, the C-FMAY spent 20 days fighting fires in the South East corner of BC.
The Martin Mars continues to attract opportunities. We are on standby with the Provincial Government as part of the aircraft fleet, offered by the Canadian Federal Government to Greece, to help with their catastrophic wildfire situation. Next week we will host a reporter from Forbes Magazine, out of New York, who will be here to visit the Mars; they will be doing a feature story on the largest floatplanes in the world.
I am very impressed with the various construction teams working on Rim Rock. Jim, Scott, Al, and Suzan are driving every detail to the finish line and are doing an excellent job. Next issue we will profile each contractor and their contribution to what I believe will be the pride of Port Alberni.
